The title of 5th hottest place in the world has been claimed by Mitribah. It is a weather station situated in northwest Kuwait. WMO (World Meteorological Organization) has confirmed this region as the hottest place in Asia.

On 21st July 2016, Mitribah recorded the highest ever temperature of 53.9°C (129°F), making itself the 5th hottest place in the world. This temperature was also crowned as one of the hottest places in Asia.

Tirat Zvi is known to be the 4th hottest place in the world. Situated in Israel, Tirat Zvi is a religious kibbutz in the Beit She'an Valley. With a population of 1,021, it is a quite small region of Israel.

On June 21, 1942, Tirat Zvi recorded the highest ever temperature of 54°C (129°F). However, there are questions regarding the authenticity of the measurement. Nevertheless, it is still one of the hottest place in the world without any further doubt.

The 3rd hottest place in the world is Ahvaz, situated in Iran. The city is located in the central district of Ahvaz County, Khuzestan province.

There are more then 1.2 million people residing in the city. With the river Karun flowing through the middle of the city, it becomes a lively and important location in Iran.

Ahvaz has a hot desert climate that features long and extremely hot summers. Winters are short but quite cool, balancing the summer temperature. The average summer temperature is 45°C. in winters temperature can fall down to 5°C.

The highest temperature was recorded in the year of 2017, on June 29, when the temperature reached 54°C (129.2°F). the dry heat that the city boasts in its usually very hot summer makes the city the 3rd hottest place in the world.

Kebili, the town, is located in the south of Tunisia. It is one of the most important cities of the Nefzaoua region. Kebili is also the capital of the Kebili Governorate.

According to WMO, Kebili holds the record of highest temperature in Africa as well as the world, which was 55°C. However, this record has been disputed by several methodologists as Kebili station has no records supporting the claim of 55°C. The highest temperature recorded there is of 48.8 °C (119.8 °F) on 24 July 1997.

Nevertheless, Kebili is still one of the hottest place in earth. And the 2nd hottest place in the world in terms of highest recorded temperature.

The title of the hottest place in the world has been claimed by Furnace Creek, situated in California, USA. On 10th July 1913, Furnace Creek witnessed the highest temperature of 56.7°C (134°F), which is also the highest temperature ever witnessed in earth. But that’s only the air temperature.

On 15th July 1972, the ground temperature touched 93.9°C, which is only a few degrees off boiling temperature. The average temperature of the place is 33°C. the temperature of furnace creek is generally very high, boasting hot desert climate. There are other claims of some of the highest temperature documented in earth, but most of those lack evidence. All of the listed places are generally hot places, hence, there is hardly any doubt about their authenticity.
